Hello, and welcome to my website! I'm Brandon, an excelling senior at Stanford University who loves storytelling, whether creatively, quantitatively, or experimentally. This manifests in my interest and accomplishments within the fields of English, political science, law, film, music, research, and journalism.
I have had my academic work featured at the Smithsonian Institute and mentioned in Rolling Stone; conducted research at the Stanford Center for Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law under Dr. Didi Kuo; completed a book about the historiography of Thomas Jefferson scholarship; designed and taught a course officially affiliated with Stanford University; edited for the Stanford Undergraduate Law Review; and interviewed figures such as Rolling Stone founder Jann Wenner, Rufus Wainwright, and Alex G.
Creatively, I've directed numerous recognized films; given award-winning speeches to crowds of hundreds; and written and produced numerous sold out theatrical productions. In other words, I'm having a lot of fun and telling quite a few stories!
In addition to my studies, I am honored to serve as an academic tutor at the Hume Writing Center, volunteer with the National Hispanic Institute, play numerous musical instruments, perform with the Stanford Improvisors, run campus production company Flying Horse Films, maintain a biweekly newspaper column, and work as the music director for KZSU 90.1 FM.
Feel free to reach out to me; I'd love to work with you!
